We take your privacy very seriously and understand that you care about how your personal information is used and shared. Information
When using our website, we collect two types of information from site users; personal data (including, where relevant, names, e-mail addresses, contact telephone number and company name) and statistical data (e.g. site visits, web browser type, operating system type and visitor geography).
Personal Data
This is only captured when provided by you, for example, when you subscribe for updates, contact us through our website, or engage us to provide services.
If you subscribe for updates, our website hub stores your email address in a database and MailChimp. Your mail addresses will only be used to periodically send you emails containing news, information about our services or industry information which we feel is relevant to you. You may unsubscribe from our update e-mails at any time using the link contained in the email.
You can request to be deleted from this database at any time by contacting us using the following email: hybridgeotabs@ugent.be
Your e-mail address and contact information will never be made available to another organisation for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
Statistical Data
Whenever you visit our website, we collect limited statistical data using cookies and other similar technologies which may involve saving cookies to your computer. This is purely for the purposes of website analytics and only records the number of site visits, the type of web browser you use, the type of operating system your computer runs and your geographical location. This information does not tell us who you are, and we only use it to monitor the effectiveness of the site.

How do we share and disclose the information to third parties?
We do not rent or sell your Personal Information to anyone under any circumstances.
We may process your personal information for our legitimate business interests e.g. direct marketing, data analytics and/or enhancing/modifying/improving our services (see ‘Legitimate Interests’ section below).
We do not transfer any information, personal or otherwise, outside of the EEA (European Economic Area).
Under certain circumstances we may be required to disclose your Personal Information in response to valid requests by public authorities such as the Police or security services.

What choices do I have?
You can always opt not to disclose information to us, but keep in mind some information may be needed to register with us or to use our services. You may unsubscribe from our update e-mails at any time using the link contained in the email.
Children
We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you are under 16, please do not attempt to register for our updates or send any Personal Information about yourself to us. If we learn that we have collected Personal Information from a child, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. We do not endorse any of these Linked Sites, the services or products described or offered on such Linked Sites, or any of the content contained on the Linked Sites. Will hybridGEOTABS ever change this privacy policy?
We’re constantly aim to improve our website and services, so we may need to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. hybridGEOTABS seek to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998. We follow strict security procedures concerning the storage and disclosure of personal information, in order to prevent unauthorised access by third parties.
